About Trudy Kelly Forsythe

Trudy Kelly Forsythe is an award-winning journalist with nearly two decades of professional writing experience. Her first major assignment was a feature article about moose hunting for a provincial hunting and fishing magazine. Since then, she has written for magazines, radio, newspaper and the World Wide Web as well as for corporate and government clients.

Trudy has put the power of words to work for her clients in news stories, feature articles, web content, brochure and newsletter copy, radio ads, PSAs, media releases, speeches, advertorial and book reviews. Topics she has written about are just as diverse including new and established businesses; local, provincial and national events; industry products and services; agriculture; health; information technology; tourism; education; gardening; and much, much more. Trudy has also worked as a co-editor and editor on a variety of publications including two print books: PWAC Guide to Roughing it in the Market: A Survival Toolkit for the Savvy Writer by Angie Gallop, and Heaven Help Hope: Our Decade Battle With ALS by Rev. Ernie D. Eldridge. She is also the editor and co-author of Independent Writers’ Guide to Government Action, an electronic publication written with Tracey Arial for the Professional Writers Association of Canada.

An English honours graduate from the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton), Trudy also has a diploma in radio broadcasting. She is a professional member of the Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) and of the Cassell Network of Writers FFWA/FWR (CNW) and belongs to the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB).
